Legal lead for a group supplying software and services to proprietary trading firms. Re-built the contract stack, the customer-facing documents, the intellectual property position and the data protection framework. Advise the board on the regulatory perimeter in the operating and target markets.

1990 to 1995
Group Executive Director, General Manager, Legal Counsel and Company Secretary, Hong Kong Listed Group Now Called Kunlun Energy
Ran the group from 1991 and acted as its in-house lawyer throughout. Restructured it out of financial services into oil and gas, moved its domicile to Bermuda, and was instrumental in bringing in China National Petroleum Corporation as controlling shareholder in 1993.
